Alfred Flores-Mendoza | LADC

Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, 15+

As a clinical intern with an LADC, currently pursuing my Master’s at the University of Minnesota, I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals, families, and adolescents on their journey toward healing and growth. My experience includes working with those facing addiction, substance use, self-esteem challenges, anxiety, and depression.

In our sessions, my goal is to help you become the person you aspire to be through a person-centered and existential approach. I take the time to truly understand you—your struggles, your pain, and your unique story—walking alongside you every step of the way.

From an existential perspective, I believe that while we have the freedom to make choices, that freedom comes with the responsibility for our actions and their consequences. Many of us wrestle with feelings of meaninglessness, searching for purpose in a chaotic world. Together, we will explore your ability to make choices, the responsibility that comes with them, and how you create meaning in your experiences. This includes discovering what gives your life purpose, navigating uncertainty, and confronting the fears or anxieties that may be holding you back.

The goal isn’t to eliminate challenges but to empower you to face them with greater clarity and confidence—helping you live in a way that feels true and authentic to you. As humans, we are constantly evolving, learning, and growing. Therapy is a space for that evolution, and I am honored to be part of your journey.
