OUR CARE TEAM
Christina Ruud | MA
Specialties: Communication, Life Transitions, Grief
It is my desire to develop a safe, authentic, and supportive therapeutic relationship where clients can learn and grow. I want our time together to be a place where clients can find hope and healing. It is an honor to hold space for each person’s unique experience.
My years of experience include working with individuals, families, blended families, and couples of all ages. Many of them dealing with grief and loss, life transitions, family issues, communication, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Depending on client need, I use a variety of approaches from systems theory, narrative, strengths-based, play therapy, behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy. If desired, I can integrate Christian faith-based practices as well.
My graduate degrees are Marriage & Family and Professional Counseling. Having completed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination, I am now NBCC certified. I completed basic training for Accelerated Resolution Therapy. I am also a trained facilitator for Prepare and Enrich and SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts- Christian focus). In addition, I completed the MN state approved training for family mediation. At this time, I am working towards licensure under the supervision of Dr. Anna Ramos (Ph.D., LPCC, LMHC).
