I graduated from North Central with a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Studies and from St. Mary’s with a Master’s in Psychology. I have been a therapist for nearly three years after retiring from being a Special Agent with the FBI. While in the FBI I was responsible for the mental health of over 200 employees and their families. I also had the privilege of being a Crisis Negotiator and a coordinator of Crimes Against Children. As a licensed minister since 1989 I’ve have worked in various pastoral roles before joining the FBI.
I’ve found the therapist role to be significantly powerful and have enjoyed working with a large variety of individuals, couples, and families. Integrating faith and proven psychological principles has been very beneficial for people as they grow and overcome challenges. This has been a significant passion of mine.
I’ve worked alongside people on a wide range of issues including various types of trauma, while using a variety of modalities that can take power away from prior events. Clients have mentioned that I have been helpful to them with depression, anxiety, career stressors, addictions, grief, relationship issues and numerous other challenges.
